Time to dust off your Lederhosen! Oktoberfest in the Gardens makes its long awaited debut in Sydney this Saturday after years of huge success in Melbourne and Perth, with over 40,000 Aussies nationally taking part in the country’s largest Oktoberfest celebration.

Taking place in The Domain, party goers will be wondering if they’ve been transported to the streets of Munich, with a massive big top beer hall, traditional German food stalls, roving performers, sideshow alley, a silent disco and an eclectic mix of entertainment and on-stage competitions running throughout the day.

Co-founder Ross Drennan puts the festival’s massive success down to Australia’s curiosity for German food, beer and culture.

“Not many Aussies are able to jump on a plane and fly to Munich to celebrate Oktoberfest so we are pleased to bring the best elements of the festival down-under. You’ll be able to taste your way across Europe with a large selection of imported beer, cider and wine paired with traditional German dishes,” he said.

Tickets to the event are selling fast, and with an attendance of more than 15,000 expected, Oktoberfest in the Gardens is shaping up to be Sydney’s biggest and most-talked about celebration of all Germany has to offer!

Final release tickets are available through Moshtix, with all attendees receiving a commemorative event stein and beverage on arrival.
