I’m always keen to try out new make-up and when I was asked to review Sleek MakeUp’s new limited edition collection I was very excited! The collection is called the ‘Nautical Collection’; which came out in the UK this summer and is available online while stocks last. Sleek Limited Edition Nautical Collection comes in sailor inspired blue, white and red packaging and three cosmetics in the collection, which include the ‘Calm Before The Storm i-Divine Palatte’, ‘Santa Marina Blush by 3’ and the ‘Reddy To Sail True Colour Lipstick’.
Starting with my favourite from the collection the ‘Reddy To Sail True Colour Lipstick’. I’m in love with this semi matte coral-red shade. It’s a great colour and gives you a rich look. It goes on smoothly and the colour lasted for nearly three hours and didn’t dry out my lips.
The ‘Calm Before The Storm i-Divine Palette’ has 12 colours, ranging from neutral colours to bright blue shades. There is a lot you can do with this palette as there are so many colours! So if you’re having a neutral day or fancy a pop of colour it has a variety of both. The colours are so bright and summery it’s perfect for the festival season. They go on really well and they don’t fade. My only complaint would be the brush it comes with, but when using a Body Shop eye shadow brush they glide on nice and smoothly.
The ‘Santa Marina Blush by 3’ has three shades, which consisted of coral-toned blushers, a sandy coloured matte blusher and darker blusher with a shimmer. This blusher palette allows you to apply them on their own or layer for a stronger look. The coral-toned blusher adds warmth to your face and creates a natural look if you don’t use too much of it. The coral-toned blusher looks great with the ‘Reddy To Sail True Colour Lipstick’. The three colours lets you create a very sheer natural look or if you’re looking for a dramatic look it works for both. They all go on very well and complement a variety of skin tones.
The Nautical collection is available online from sleekmakeup.com and they ship to Australia.
