A showcase event where art meets fashion – there was no better setting for what was a spectacular night.
11 incredible Australian designers took to the runway to showcase their Spring Summer 18 collections to a buzzing crowd of over 500 celebrities, influencers and media. Guests mingled in the opulent foyer and were first greeted to drinks and canapés, before being ushered to their seats for what was a spectacular show of Australian talent.
Opening Fashion Palette 18 was iconic label Sass & Bide, with a stunning, whimsical collection that certainly did not disappoint. Monochromatic tones with pops of turquoise embodied the collection, with over-the-top embellishments and detailing staying true to the iconic Sass & Bide aesthetic.
Also showcasing their collections were Akira Isogawa, Haus of Song, Eliya The Label, Nicola Finetti, Zerryn, Heaven Swimwear, Alin Le Cal, Daneille Aridi, Lena Kasparian and Wild Pony Swimwear – and yes, there was even a model carried on a surfboard down the runway by a bevvy of male models!
The best-of-the-best in new and emerging Australian designers, Fashion Palette SS18 gave us a glimpse into the latest trends for the upcoming season – think bold prints, embellishments, structured pieces and luxe textures.
