On Tuesday evening last week I was invited to the THOMAS SABO Sweet Siamonds and Sterling Silver Collection launch. I was amongst great company as the Australian fashion and lifestyle press and a few celebrities popped by to the first launch of the brand new Sweet Diamonds Collection and the latest Sterling Silver Collection at The Tea Room, Queen Victoria Building, Sydney. It was a fab turn out too! Around 120 media and a handful of selected celebrity guests celebrated the international lifestyle brand’s exquisite new ranges.
I’m a big fan of the collection, I got a necklace from my boyfriend for our first Valentine’s Day, so I was keen to find a new piece to add to my growing collection!
The THOMAS SABO Charm Club collection, the new 2012 collection won’t be launched until September, so I’m looking forward to that!
Sweet Diamonds is the fourth collection under the THOMAS SABO umbrella – joining the Sterling Silver, Charm Club and Watches collections. I loved the man’s collection too!
The THOMAS SABO international representative, Hanny Freund, flew in to Sydney to launch the new collection to the Australian media – Australia being one of the few international locations selected for the German brand’s new Sweet Diamonds Collection launch.
The Sweet Diamonds range, featuring very delicate and beautifully crafted silver jewellery, adorned with real diamonds and framed by yellow gold, is a first in the history of the THOMAS SABO brand. With this new line of jewellery, guests were inspired to discover a sweet new world and to put their feminine charm on show in a diverse and playful manner.
I have to be honest, some of the items in the Thomas Sabo collection are a bit too much for me, or a little too ‘bling’ however, there was a great balance in the new collection and come real stand out pieces. The only exceptions being the polar bear ring and the penguin charm – not my bag baby!
We were also treated to a preview of the new Autumn/Winter 2012 Sterling Silver collection – Glam & Soul DANCE. Glamorous new items of jewellery made hearts beat that little bit faster with the Sterling Silver Collection lines displayed in all of their elegance.
Celebrities that attended included Brian McFadden, Vogue Williams, Rebecca Breeds, Kathryn Robinson, Luke Jacobz, Magdalena Roze, James Kerley, Zoe Balbi, Jaynie Seal, Maude Garret, Demi Jewel Bryant, Lynette Bolton, Jana Peterson, Nathan and Haley Bracken amongst others who now join a host of international celebrity fans including Olivia Palermo, Nicky Hilton and the stylish Poppy Delevingne.
The unparalleled style and grace of The Tea Room and grandeur of the Queen Victoria Building provided the perfect setting for the presentation of the THOMAS SABO Sweet Diamonds and Sterling Silver Collections, which will be available from leading jewellers nationally in August 2012. The perfect location for afternoon tea! Yum!
